The music video “Dear Portland Police” features some of the most well-known figures in Portland Hip Hop and Portland activism. Swiggle Mandela teams up with long time mentee and local hero Micah Fletcher. The song also features his brother Jasey Cordeta, Anael Jeannis, and Portland Hip Hop legend Cool Nutz. The song offers a realistic look into the way a lot of Portlanders feel about the Cites law enforcement. With lyrics talking about Black people who lost their lives to Police brutality, as well as Portland’s racist history. With so many powerful people teaming up to create this revolutionary charged anthem, it is sure to spread through the city like wildfire.
